Our Mission

The Mission

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

Taking our cue from the words of our Savior, Jesus, our mission is simply to be a church of disciples which is committed to making disciples. We accomplish this through three essential principles: connect, engage, and multiply.

Connect

Our God does not want us to walk through this life alone. As such, we believe that God would have us connect first to him through a life committed to worship and second to those fellow believers who he has placed in our lives.

We accomplish this through our Sunday morning worship gathering, the meeting of our connect groups, and various other worship and fellowship activities intended to connect our people with God and with each other.

Engage

God has called the church to make his name famous among the nations. We accomplish this by intentionally and compassionately engaging the world around us with the life-saving message of the Gospel.

We accomplish this primarily through the way that we choose to live our lives in our daily context. After all, God knows where we are and has prepared good works for us to do in advance for his glory. In addition to the intentional focus that we strive for in our daily lives, we have ministries that are focused on reaching into our community and making a difference through meeting needs of individuals and families.

Multiply

All for God’s glory. We understand that this life is not our own. We have been bought at a price and set apart to bring God glory in all that we do. We understand also, that if we are truly connecting with God, connecting with fellow believers, and engaging the community in which we live, we should see the multiplication of his kingdom. This isn’t about a church. It definitely isn’t about us. It is all for his glory.
